The Center offers a variety of customizable workshops for groups of 6-60 individuals. All the workshops are 2-3 hours and are meant for workplace or community groups to learn more about recognizing and reducing conflict in their lives.

Most conflicts arise from communication challenges. Misunderstandings, assumptions, and lack of information can all lead to more difficult disputes. In this session, participants will learn their personal communication style and how that works for and against them. There will be practice around using specific language and skills to develop more effective communications styles.

It is hard to give feedback- and hard to hear it as well! This training will focus on communication skills that will help to ensure that these conversations are successful. It will include theory and practice around active listening, setting the stage for success and

Participants will learn to recognize instances of generational diversity and to use their knowledge to practice effective communication and engagement with both clients and colleagues. As a result, team members will be empowered to engage with others in a manner that effectively aligns with core values and mission. 

Participants will gain a better understanding of the relationship between conflict and communication, and practice communication skills with the goal of having successful conversations in the workplace. This training focuses on active listening skills, clear communication and effective preparation for having hard conversations.

Many people are experiencing conflict at work.  Hybrid and remote schedules, increasing polarization and more work with less all lead to frustrating situations with co-workers, supervisors and clients. This training will identify your personal conflict management style and teach skills and strategies to identify conflict and paths to success.

Every business and organization goes through change. How we navigate that change can be the difference between success and failure. This training focuses on skills and strategies that individuals can use to successfully move through challenging times.  Topics include emotional intelligence, transparent communication and determining values.

What is work culture in today’s environment? It’s hard to define- but everyone knows when it isn’t good. Everyone can create and support a positive work culture that leads to productivity. This training focuses on identifying key areas of potential discord and ways to create the culture that your organization needs. Topics include identifying values, emotional intelligence, sticking points and getting unstuck.

This interactive workshop explores subtle, often unintentional behaviors and remarks—known as microaggressions—that can negatively impact workplace culture and employee well-being. Participants will learn to recognize different types of microaggressions (verbal, nonverbal, and environmental), understand their cumulative effects on individuals and teams, and develop practical strategies to address them in a constructive and inclusive manner.

Using real-life scenarios, group activities, and facilitated discussions, this session empowers attendees to:

  • Identify common workplace microaggressions and their impact
  • Understand how intent vs. impact plays a role in workplace communication
  • Respond to microaggressions as a bystander or recipient
  • Foster a more respectful and equitable work environment
