A resident of Rhode Island since 2017, Matt has worked in fund development, communications, and administration for nonprofits across the state. His professional focus is building relationships and connecting people to resources to solve community-wide problems. Matt passionately advocates for LGBTQIA+ rights, poverty relief, and literacy. He sits on the Board for PFLAG of Greater Providence. Matt received Bachelor’s Degrees in History and Political Science from Furman University and did graduate work in Political Science at Texas A&M University. He lives in North Providence with his family.
