Rick retired as a General Manager/SVP at Progressive Insurance where he led an organization of 11 states and over 5000 people. He has experience in complex insurance litigation, operations management, and development of high performing teams. Rick is a Board Advisor at ADAS Safe and a consultant for QuantivRisk, both insurance adjacent startups. He is also an Adjunct Professor at New England Institute of Technology’s department of Business Management.
Rick is passionate about helping people resolve conflicts in a variety of environments including the workplace. He has been volunteering as a Court Appointed Special Advocate for Children (CASA) since 2017. He also volunteers at the MLK Community Center’s mobile food pantry in Newport, RI. Rick volunteers as a mediator in the RI District Court through the Center for Mediation and Collaboration’s program.
Rick received a Master of Business Administration from the University of Rhode Island and a bachelor’s degree in business management from Hartwick College.
Rick is an avid tennis player, traveler and enjoys hiking the White Mountains with a group of friends. He lives in Newport with his wife Linda and has three adult children.
